Between Grant and I being sick and it starting to rain as it got dark, we decided to scrap the idea of trick or treating and be homebodies. We got some cheap frozen pizzas, made root beer floats and watched a movie while waiting for trick or treaters (not one actually showed up). We still had fun anyway - taking a few silly pictures.
Apparently, our 2008 Halloween pictures only come in the large size so I hope you enjoy seeing us up close and personal!
Grant learned quickly how to say pumpkin this year.
I'm so glad we didn't get big pumpkins - Grant would have tried to pick them up no matter the size, but these were just a little more manageable
Bet you guys thought that I was the only goofball around here ---- WRONG!
I ordered the 5 Love Languages of Children from amazon.com the other day. I'm really excited to start reading it - just as soon as I can get it back from Grant.
Hope that you all had a fun and safe Halloween!

Sounds nice and peaceful!! I was at my mom's and some teenagers came along and took ALL the candy from my neice who was handing it out. She is 6. What a bunch of losers!! Some of the costumes really scared my baby. The funny one was the tiny tiny incredible hulk that waved at him. He totally freaked out!!
What a nice relaxing night. (Very envious, really!!) We had a good time. I'm sure you'll see it on our blog. Sure do miss hangin out though. Carving pumpkins would have been fun this year and we def. would have knocked on your door!! ;)
Happy Halloween to you! Those were some cute pics. I've never heard of the 5 Love Languages for KIDS. I'll have to check it out! I hope you're not sick anymore. Take care.
Love the pumpkin heads!
